Laqueanda Reneau is a Coordinator for Communities United’s Survivors Alliance for Healing and Justice (SAHJ).
Laqueanda was born and raised on Chicago’s west side, and has a deep understanding of the inequities faced by Black and Brown communities. Having studied public health at DePaul University, Laqueanda has been instrumental to the development of CU’s “Healing through Justice” approach to youth and intergenerational leadership development. She is the mother of two amazing boys, and brings her lived experience and passion to create a safe environment for generations to come.
